I told my bf I didnt like to receive oral

It's not the first time we've tried it... but it's been years since and when he tried it today it still didnt feel good and wasnt pleasurable at all. He's really upset I didnt like it. It honestly hurt and i almost feel like he wasnt even in the right places to begin with. I tried to guide him and we tried a few things but honestly nothing felt good and honestly felt like needles. My boyfriend wont drop it that I dont wanna try it again.

Ladies how do you deal with this and is it normal to not like oral?
