🇬🇧UK Mummies~ Elective C Sec

Could you please tell me at how many weeks & days you were when you had your elective C section and did you have any choice in the date selected?

I spoke to my consultant this morning about getting booked in for mine and she was very lovely and sounded as though they would be flexible (I want my baby as close to her due date as possible, not a whole week earlier) but I'll receive the date in the post in a few weeks.

She did say if I felt it was too soon they'd try and move it but I'm just curious in the meantime to see what other mums here in the UK have experienced with theirs.
