Feels like period cramps. Braxton Hicks?

So I’ve had what feels like mild period cramps off and on for a few weeks. I even ended up in labor and delivery for an evening due to those cramps and a tiny bit of spotting. They said I was dehydrated, gave me fluids, and sent me home.
I have still be getting them fairly regularly. They always eventually go away. Are these Braxton Hicks? I read that Braxton Hicks are supposed to feel like a tightness in your abdomen. This does not feel like that.

Yes mine are extremely uncomfortable and sometimes painful. I went to L&D when I vomited during one of these episodes. They said they are in fact contractions. Braxton Hicks wouldn’t be painful. I looked into it more and it’s prodromal contractions

I get this as well. Sometimes I’ll have it on and off for hours and then I won’t have it again for days or a week and then it happens again. And same thing it’s not tightening its period like cramps in really low abdomen.

I have this too! Not like upper abdominal tightness... I have low pelvic period like feelings. I don’t know what it is ..:/

Braxton Hicks can sometimes be crampy feeling for sure, it’s not always just tightness. The other possibility would be prodromal labor, which is when you have consistent, timeable Braxton Hicks-like contractions for a period of that eventually sputter out. Some people get prodromal for weeks before baby comes.
