Anyone else have constant Braxton Hicks??

I’ve been having them regularly since 14 weeks but the past few weeks they’ve ramped up in pain and I get them constantly. I’m talking every five minutes, every time I move, the whole time I breastfeed my toddler. Anyone else have them this much? My doctor said its okay by the way!!

I’m sure breastfeeding has something to do with that seeing it triggers contractions. I have them all the time as well but they don’t hurt at all.

I was the same way my doctor tolled me to drink more water that is likely that dehydration trigger them and since you are breastfeeding you might need to stay extra hydrated. Btw drinking more water helped for me

Same! Still breastfeeding my almost 2 year old and the BH definitely ramps up when he’s nursing. My OB isn’t concerned either, even though I am dilated 2cm and 50% effaced. She’s more concerned with me chasing him around than nursing him. I try to drink more water and rest when they act up.

Yup. Had them ALL pregnancy last time and all pregnancy this time. Sigh

Yep. Sitting at my OB office waiting for my NST  and I’ve already had two (usually they are hours apart) and then I’ll get one when I stand up after sitting for awhile. And yeah they are definitely uncomfortable but I can tell they aren’t really doing anything yet. After 4 babies, this being number 5, I’m well versed in the difference 😝
