Stopping birth control HELP

Has anyone stopped taking their pill and want to talk about your experience? In the past few months I’ve been struggling with it and I’ve really considered stopping it all together. I’m in a serious relationship long distance and not sexually active and won’t be for another 6 months. Even when we are having sex we are always very safe. I originally started the pill to regulate periods and have been on it for a few years but don’t think it’s best for me anymore. What advice do you have?
