Is anyone’s baby hitting or scratching?

My daughter has been scratching and hitting us every time we get near her. She has also started doing that to my parents and her cousins. Is this just a stage?😩 Or is she just going to be sassy and feisty😂.

Currently teaching our daughter gentle touch as she hits us as we weren’t sure if she’s hitting on purpose or didn’t  understand the difference between hitting and gentle stroking. She now knows the difference and is getting better at gentle touching (which is great as her baby sibling is due any day)

Yea she smacks me when i dint agree with her. Shes hit her grandma and great grandma too
