Is having a miscarriage at 5 weeks going to mess up my cycle?

Just found out I was pregnant a weeks ago, my levels aren’t rising appropriately so my dr thinks it’s going to be a miscarriage, Will this effect my cycles being so early? I’m 33

Since it was early it doesn’t mess your cycle that much. I’ve had 4 consecutive miscarriages and I’ve had periods 3-5 weeks after a miscarriage. It’s only when you lose it later where it takes longer. I had a loss at 22 weeks and didn’t get my period for 6 weeks. It also depends on how long your bleeding lasts. Hope this helps.

Sorry for your loss. Your cycle will need to reset. You will bleed out whatever pregnancy product you have inside first and then wait for your period.
