Yes everything he will come into contact with I’ve washed with special stuff so blankets, bedsheets, pram sheet, cuddly toys, all clothes, feeding pillow and my hospital clothes

It has nothing to do with coronavirus because the virus won’t live on clothes like that, but their skin is so sensitive, I wouldn’t want it coming into contact with any chemicals used to make or transport the clothes. My son is on all free and clear detergent so I washed the second baby’s clothes in that also.

Everyone’s clothes should be washed before wearing. Sooo much stuff gets sprayed on them during production and retail. It’s gross.

Yes, but I’d suggest waiting to wash anything sized bigger like 6 Months and larger. I washed everything we had with our first and then he ended up not fitting into some of those outfits but I couldn’t return or the resale value was t as high.

Brand new clothes have starches and dye remnants that I am especially sensitive/allergic to(It gives me hives and itchy skin). Even if I wasn't sensitive to them I would definitely want to wash them off for a newborn. I would personally rather dress my newborn in a hand me down that I haven't personally washed then expose them to all those starches and chemicals. A quick Google search will show that the general recommendation for brand new clothes is definitely to wash before wearing.

Yes, although on baba #1 we ran out of clean baby grows in the hospital so he had to wear them straight from the shop. He was completely fine
