Why do some settle for less

Ladies I’m gonna be real with y’all, some of you have dropped your crown queen. I see too many posts about your man not doing anything and y’all are basically is new mom without realizing it. Or baby daddies who live with you but won’t help you or won’t go to appointment. I gotta ask, why the fuck did you settle?

Most people don’t want to be alone. They allow loneliness or desperation be the reason that they settle for less than they deserve. They think sticking around for the kids sake, to not have a broken home. Women think empty promises will happen. Guilt and manipulation, controlling, guys. At the same token, Guys tell you what you want to hear to get what they want, false promises of a future but with no intention of it. He will change. We were taught at an early age, even on the play ground, that if a boy was mean to us, that he liked us. No sweetie he had issues and you deserve better. Women tolerate soooo much crap because they don’t want to be alone. They give the benefit of the doubt and hope he will change. They think they put in so much work and effort or been with him so long, they don’t want to have to start all over again with someone else. They are too old to start over again,  after divorce and kids and who is gonna want me with kids and divorce under my belt. They think they aren’t enough. That they need to work harder or try more, when the only one that wants this, is themselves, while he does the minimal. While he’s on his phone talking to other women or on a dating app etc. ignoring her and her needs. Stop tolerating the crap. Stop collecting red flags like they were a dozen roses and wake up to the reality that you deserve better, you deserve happiness, you deserve love and respect etc. life is what you make it, if you aren’t happy, you change what you can and what you can’t change, you learn to love, accept and embrace yourself flaws and all.

When you get a bad feeling about someone or something that they have done or said don’t try to dig too deep or try to pass it off. That bad feeling that you get is what we call a red flag. It’s your body’s way of telling you that at some point this person is going to disappoint you in someway. I think a lot of people like to ignore red flags because they think oh maybe that’s not that bad, but in reality red flags are revealing a much bigger issue

Most women have deep scars and issues that reach all the way back to their childhoods. This trauma can cause feelings of worthlessness and put women in a position where they feel that "the challenge" of causing a caustic man to reguard them as worthy will prove to them on some level that they are indeed worthy.

Coming from my own personal experience, I often felt that this person was the best I could get so I would settle for awful treatment. Lately however, I realize that when something doesn’t work out that means that there is room for someone who is way better

Because my parents treated me like shit too, so for the longest time I didn't even know that wasn't the norm
