First ultrasound at only 3 weeks and no gestational sack. Should I be worried?

So I had my first doctor’s appointment today even though I know its way too early. (First time pregnancy and I can’t help myself 🙈) 
The uterine line is thickening but there was no gestational sack to be seen. Doc said it was because I have not been pregnant long enough but my mind is still going overboard and I’m scared I’m not going to have my precious baby. Should I be worried about this or is it normal??

You must of literally just found out your pregnant, if your period was only 3 weeks ago I don’t understand why your doctor would even entertain the idea of scanning you so early. 6 weeks is still early and most the time you don’t see anything properly until after 6/7 weeks

How do you even know you’re pregnant at 3 weeks?! Most people don’t even know until a missed period at 4 weeks. That’s nuts! At 3 weeks the embryo is microscopic and only just implanting. There’d be absolutely nothing to see.

Insanely early! I've never had an ultrasound earlier than 6 weeks. My OB doesnt even like to see us til at least 8 weeks. Lol I wouldn't worry, just be patient!

Doctors usually only set the first appointment during 8-10 weeks so that they can see something on ultrasound.
