Advice?

So I’m 15 weeks pregnant and I’m not with the father anymore because of abuse, cheating etc. This guy I dated when I was in high school wants to start something again and idk if I should. The reason we broke up was because I went to college and he was still in high school. He was very sweet, and he always tried to take me out on dates. I’m 25 now and he’s 24. I’ve been playing hard to get with him. He’s offered to bring me and my son food, offered to pay my car note but I turned it all down. He even wants to take me and my son on a trip but I just don’t want to get too close and my son gets attached and it doesn’t work out. Should I give him a chance or wait until I have my baby.
