Helpppp!

I wasn’t really sure where to post this. I am a 31y/o with very very irregular periods. So irregular that the last time I had one was 12/2019. I went to my gyno last Thursday for a yearly check up. Her receptionist had me pee in a cup🤷🏼‍♀️ I talked to the nurse about possibly starting BC to regulate myself, I mentioned to her that I would love to get pregnant before I turn 35.

A few minutes later the doctor walks in and what she says to me is so shocking. She says to me they tested my urine twice and I tested positive for pregnancy. I looked at her and said you’re kidding, are you sure it was my urine. I’m in complete disbelief but excited. She ordered a blood test which also came back positive. I took an at home test today and also got a positive.

I can’t help but think that maybe it’s a false positive and I’m just getting my hopes up. I can’t get in to the OB until late July and the wait is killing me. I’ve been on the internet “researching” false positives and now I’m crying because as much as I want this I can’t help but think it’s all juts a misunderstanding.

Has this ever happened to anyone? I have a little girl who is turning 9 next Monday and since I can remember she’s been asking for a sibling. I’ve thought so much about sharing the news with her on her birthday but then I have doubts because I’d hate to get her hopes up too!😔
