Is it normal for your husband to be jealous of male doctors?

My husband has always not wanted me to have a male doctor, whether it’s for a physical, OBGYN, or if it was something that was close to my private areas (example like a rash on my thigh). He has always said he wants me to see a woman doctor. Which has always felt weird to me, but I personally feel more comfortable with females anyway when it comes to my private areas. I don’t mind a male when it comes to anything else. So since he has said this I have requested all his doctors be males. But I just think it’s a little too much to be jealous over a doctor.
