So my husband and I were debating on our sons grandparents to see our son who just turned one. Due to covid, it's been tough on all of us. We finally tried but with rules. One of the rules was no kissing. My husband is a mamas boy and doesn't boundaries and his mom just loves that and me and his mom are cordial but we have had our differences and she can be pretty jealous and likes to be controlling and tries to be right all the time. We went to her home (it was a quick visit) and as I was walking out of the restroom she looked at me and kissed our son on his back multiple times while my husband was holding him. She then proceeded to speak baby talk and said, I just kissed you on your back and it's ok because it's not your skin and you have your clothes on. Look, I get it.. it was his back but why do I feel upset?
