How important is sex in your relationship?

I have been with my boyfriends for a few months now and he is absolutely the most amazing man..but our sex life just seems off to me an sadly not that enjoyable and not very often..HELP!?

I think the relationship my boyfriend and I share is certainly not reliant or in any way dependent on Sex, but sex is definitely a part of the overall connection we have. It's just an awesome level of intimacy to have with a person you love so deeply. Just having someone be that physically and emotionally close to you is an amazing experience that, for me, never gets old. You're allowing yourself to be really vulnerable which is pretty powerful and empowering!

Sex isn't everything but pretty important. I feel so connected to my boyfriend when we have sex. We did have a dry spell when we hit the 2 year mark. But 5 years later here we are and we are always trying to have sex lol

It's important but it's not everything. To me the most important things are honesty, loyalty and communication. But sex is 4th lol for us it's a great way to stay connected physically since most of our time is spent in school, work or with our 2 yr old. But even without sex you can have intimacy. So work on some of that and things will fall into place sexually.
