Starting of an abusive relationship?

Okay so me and my boyfriend have been dating for 3 months and he tells me all the time he is completely in love with me. I wouldn't believe it but he cries over me he puts me first and I've never had anyone treat me like this. BUT, not everything is peachy. He is constantly starting fights over his jealousy, he doesn't want me to talk to any of my friends, and today we got into a fight because he called one of my friends a cunt and I got mad because I said it was a disrespectful name to call a female and we kept fighting and while we were fighting he punched his dresser so hard it scared the fuck out of me and I said I was leaving then he wouldn't let me go and I started sobbing and I couldn't breath but he calmed me down he nearly looked like he was going to break down himself. It just sucks because I really do care for him but I'm scared it will turn abusive because that is all that I grew up on.. Do you guys think this will end badly for me? Anyone have a similar experience in the past please share I'm so confused and I don't know what to do 😞
