Do you think a card with money is fine for a birthday gift?

My co-worker birthday is this week and all she wanted was pajama’s she said that’s all she likes. I went to the stores and they didn’t have if size at none of them! So I thought maybe she will be okay with a card with money. I didn’t want to get her something she didn’t want. She specifically asked for that.

I just sent my sister an Amazon gift card. She was ecstatic. I like getting money or gift cards. I dont often buy myself things so its like people are telling me to spoil myself and I'm happy to oblige!!!

If you know where she likes to shop give her a gift card- practically the same thing but it shows just a little more effort (for some reason- id honestly rather just get cash)
