Am I wrong to take money from my daughter?

My daughter is 16, she works at Chuck e cheese and makes 11 an hour. She has a high school checking account meaning her account is tied to mines. This morning I needed gas money so I took 10 from her account. Last week I took 15 from her account to buy our dog some more food because I didn't get paid until a week later. My daughter asked me if I've been taking money from her account because she was about to order something and noticed she didn't have much. I said yes and that I'll give it back to her soon. She breathed hard after leaving my room and I could hear her ranting to her boyfriend about me. I personally feel like I have the right to do so. I've been feeding her and giving her a roof under hear head for 16 years. I changed her diapers when she was a baby. All of my money went to my kids. Id never be mad at my mom from taking small amounts of money from me every now and then. I want insight from others. If I'm truly wrong then I will applogize, but I honestly don't see what I did wrong.
