OHSS - anyone with experience?

Anyone have any experience with OHSS? After 3 days of stimulation, my estradiol is 620. Should I be worried about developing OHSS? I was told I’m at risk due to thin stature and good number of eggs at baseline. I’m going back after 5 days of stimulation for repeat bloodwork and my first follicular ultrasound.

I had mild/mod OHSS. My estrogen was 10000 last day checked which was 2 days before retrieval. As it was increasing my RE took fresh transfer off the table which sucked at the time but I think it was good to give my body time to heal and then we did a FET the next cycle. Lots of abdominal bloating and pain. I had 30 eggs retrieved and ended with 10 frozen blasts. Got pregnant on my first FET currently 17 weeks. It was rough but the symptoms got so much better after my period started.

Mine was about 4,000 at my last monitoring appointment. We had planned a freeze all cycle from the beginning because I was at risk for the same reasons as you. My doctor switched me to a Lupron trigger, which is supposed to minimize risk. I still had a lot of bloating for a few days before and after retrieval, but I know it definitely could have been worse.

I developed OHSS. My numbers were always normal and I only had 11 eggs retrieved. Mine was a mild form though, but I just drank a lot of water and Gatorade and after a few days everything was normal. I was able to do my fresh transfer.

My estradiol was like 9000 by the end of stims (8 days). I had mild OHSS that resolved itself; I just needed to monitor my fluid intake/urine output. I still did a successful fresh transfer too.

Also- the doctor thought about decreasing my gonal, but decided to keep it the same dose. I’m on gonal and menopur. Starting cetrotide today (day 5 of meds).
