embarrassed but asking for advice

So i have been seeing this guy for a little over 2 months now and we have had sex and we’ve kissed but we have never made out. i did attempt to make the first move (which i’ve never done) and i don’t know if he just didn’t get what i was trying to do or purposely didn’t want to. and to me i enjoy it and its important to me and i feel like i’ve waited out long enough and now i want to bring it to his attention but im not sure how. any advice? also he’s 25 and im 20 if that makes a difference.
