I saw a spider carrying a hornet to its death

Maybe I’m dumb but I always thought spiders caught prey with their webs. It was weird that I even saw this but i saw a giant spider carrying a hornet to its certain doom. It looked like it had beaten the crap out of the hornet and I was following it trying to get a video but it’s moving so fast you can’t see anything and it’s also in the grass blending in 😔 bummer.

This spider turned around and I swear on my life, it let go of the hornet and looked at me like “I’ll fucken eat you too bitch” and the hornet was like “this is my chance” and the spider went and grabbed it again and I guess carried it off to feed it to her nest of babies or something.

The wasps and hornets have been horrific this year. I’m glad I saw a spider killing a hornet. They need to go.

But anyways that was wild. I had to share. I’ve never seen something like that before. A spider using 2 of its legs to carry a dying hornet above its head through the grass.
