I got my financial aid now what?

So, I’ve already enrolled in classes for the fall. But some of the books on the online bookstore  says price not yet available. I know it’s still early but I just want to be prepared I guess. 
Also, is it ok to purchase some books on amazon? Like, Turtles All the Way Down by John Green? Does it matter if it’s library binding or paper back?

I used chegg or amazon when I was in college. 
I also recommend waiting. There were so many times I got my textbooks before classes started, just to be told when they started that I didnt actually need it, wasting a lot of money. A lot of them will also tell you after classes start that you can use an older edition (making it cheaper).

Nope! I always bought all of my books used on amazon or a used bookstore, especially non-textbooks. Textbooks are expensive!!! Just make sure to get the right edition.

Absolutely!!! Also...don't worry too much about editions. Publishers come out with a new edition every 2 to 3 yrs and often times the only differences are a few anecdotals or some page numbers being off. Don't go too far back but if they require edition 10 and edition 9 is cheaper, go for it. If you really really need the info on the 10th edition, you can always borrow/share the book with someone. This saved me 100s of money on textbooks. I then would resell them on amazon or ebay.

Chegg and amazon books is fine. You can also look into getting a book voucher through your school with some of your financial aid money.

I’m sure your instructors wouldn’t mind where you get your books or if it’s ebook or physical. If you know what books your classes requires then it doesn’t matter when you get them, some of them might actually provide you a link to a free copy or tell you where you can get them cheaper at. I recommend you borrowing it mainly because it’s cheaper and if you sell it back to the school book store, they’ll give a low offer.
