When did your a baby sleep in his/her own room?

My 3 month old is such a noisy sleeper, but I’m considering suffering through the nose for the next few months. What did you do?

She’s almost two and still in my bed. Not ready to move her out yet as she’s still a little baby in my eyes 😅 my so works nights as well so I feel safer knowing she’s right beside me

We moved her around 8 weeks. She was a light sleeper so any move we made she would wake up. We all slept better once she moved. Her room is right across the hall though and we have a video monitor.

My son was 9 months when he went into his own room and I hated it 😂. I’m almost 12 weeks pregnant with our second and this one will also be in with us until gone 6 months. Baby is always around one of us for the first 6 months minimum. My anxiety is sky high after 6 miscarriages so I’ll do anything to reduce the risk of SIDS and I know I’d get less sleep them being in another room over in his crib next to me.

10 weeks we moved ours to her own room. She’s a super light sleeper and would be up at the slightest roll over. She was sleeping 8 hours straight once in her own room.

We started him in at 3m but only for the first chunk of sleep. When he wakes we bring him into bed for the night.

during her 4 month regression. i felt like it was easier for her to put herself back to sleep. we had a video monitor and the owlet though, otherwise i probably would have waited longer. we were never bed sharers either so i felt that helped make the transition easier too.

The recommended age in this country is 12 months but we moved her into her own room at 10 months. She was waking up constantly when the dog would come into our room and jump on the bed (several times per night) or from my partners snoring, and it felt like she was ready.
