How much does your spouse/SO contribute to the housework?

Husband and I both work full time and have children.
We split everything equally (taking care of kids,cooking,cleaning).
If I’m working, he cooks and cleans and vice versa.
I would not be ok with a spouse that didn’t put in equal effort in our home.

I really think that these man-children are the way they are because of how they were raised. 
I'm also looking after a man-child who was raised by his nan who did everything for him and still does everything for 2/3 of her sons.
We always have arguments about the fact that he leaves shit everywhere, but I will kick this out of him and when I raise my kids, they will be raised to be independent! They can't stay children forever!

At the moment he is doing most of it because hes home on furlough and im still working but when things are normal and were both at work we split it equally

I work, my husband primarily cares for the kids, cooks and cleans. I grocery shop, meal plan, manages the finances and all appointments and medical stuff. I obviously do my part with the kids and cook on my days off and clean but it’s mainly him. It’s a system that works well for us, but it wouldn’t work for everyone.

I do most of the cooking and my husband does most of the cleaning. We split the child care stuff but he generally does more because he is home a lot more than I am. I try and help out with the cleaning so it’s not all on him but he says I don’t do a very good job at it so he always ends up cleaning again afterwards. 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Well, my fiancé and I work full time so we tend to help each other equally but since I got pregnant, had my baby, been on the mat leave and now not working due to covid, I do most of house work while he works but when he’s free, he would help me with whatever we need. On some days, he would let me sit enjoy my free time when he cleans everything even cooking too. Vice verse. 
So, for your husband, if it was me, I’d straight up laugh and tell him “If you want to have children with me, then you better start to contribute to 50% of the housework.” But kids or not, he gotta step up and be the husband you deserve though. If it hasn’t change at all, well, have him pack his shit and send him away to a hotel for a while that he needs to really think about make a real change for you AND the marriage ASAP because honestly, for me, if I see zero change in my fiancé in that situation, I would divorce him with no mercy. I can’t see myself slave away for the rest of my life like that. 
I really hope he gets a big ass wake up call before he could lose you for good.

When we both work we split our pretty evenly. Currently I'm on mat leave so I'm doing more since I'm home all the time. But he does help too still.

I definitely wouldn’t be okay with that at all! We agreed before kids, he does outside stuff. And we split everything inside. I am a SAHM, but we talked about it all before kids. I stopped working when I got pregnant. We both do house stuff. I take out the trash of course if I see it full, and vice Versa. I cook most of the time but if he gets home before dinner is done then he helps, also because BF my daughter, I have to stop and feed her 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️ 
Of course yours can AT LEAST put his dirty clothes in the hamper 🤦🏻‍♀️ like seriously that’s crazy. My BIL is a man child who is catered by his MOTHER. She washes his laundry, makes his bed, all that. It’s ridiculous. That’s the reason I made sure to talk to mine before kids and stuff.
