Any tips for transitioning to no swaddle?
Our 14 week old can roll from back to tummy, and at her 3-month appt last week the pediatrician said it was time to let her arms free for sleep.
At night time she needs 20-30 mins post-rocking to drowsy before she’s asleep and does OK throughout the night (needing to be rolled onto her back if she gets stuck on tummy and won’t fall asleep). She historically has been sleeping through the night.
During the daytime I can only get 30 minute naps out of her. If she rolls, she’s on her arms and head is lifted. I’ll let her fuss for 10-15 mins and will try to get her to rest her head with little to no luck.
We have the Merlin suit but she just tried it for her first time and she was trying so hard to roll to her tummy. I don’t see that being a solve for us at this point.
Long story short, please share your tips and tricks for getting a baby comfortable with their arms out and being OK with rolling over. 🙂
