Ovulation Test

Hey everyone! Just a quick question! When exactly ovulation is happening? We should have sex when we see 2 strong lines on ovulation test right? I got confused because I read more carefully the instructions and it says ovulation will happen in 24-36 hours after you see strong 2 lines on test. Last month was the first month that we tried and actually we had sex on the days that we saw most strong lines, on 18th-19th. However, as I understand now, we should have sex the day after the strong lines too! Now I'm thinking, maybe we did not do it on exact day that we should have!
