Scheduled induction

My doctor scheduled me to be induced 4 days before my due date, however, when she did she said "we will have it all set up, I really like this idea because I don't want you going past your due date. Although, I really don't think that you will still be pregnant by then." My doctor is one of the top ob's in the state how accurate would you take her guess that I will be giving birth in the next couple of weeks? Baby's head down in pelvis but I'm only 1 cm dilated. I'm going to be a FTM. If I do make it to the two weeks she is considering possibly doing a c-section. I'm carrying to much water and the baby is measuring three weeks ahead. She's concerned as my husband was born on time but at 10 lb 11 oz and was jaundice and a meconium baby, I was only 6 lb at birth. (I was born almost a month early via c-section)I have been having infrequent contractions/Braxton hicks. I've gained about 60 lbs so far.

What do you think? Will my baby be early or is my doctor wrong?
