My iVF Doctor said she ONLY puts ONE embryo for everyone!

I’m really confused should I change doctors I already started the process and I asked yesterday could we put twins that’s what I wanted from the start because my tubes are completely damaged and I need to remove them bcuz they are blocked but I’m not high risk it’s only my tubes and I might NEVER GET THE CHANCE TO DO IVF THIS MIGHT BE MY LAST TIME DOING IVF AND MY TUBES WILL BE REMOVED, I’ve been trying to get pregnant for 9 years straight and finally have the opportunity to do IVF and my doctor told me today they absolutely don’t put twins and they ONLY put ONE EMBRYO AND ONLY ONE THATS it please give me advice what should I do or say I’m just confused at this point! What if that ONE embryo doesn’t work I thought they put more then 2 always to see which ones will work they put 6 in my friend and only one worked .. I live in Houston Texas and I feel like other doctors aren’t like this so I just need a lot more opinions right now
