House holding weird energy?

Me, my bf & our toddler just moved into a new apartment. We came from a small 2bed that was a very open floor plan. When I was cooking I was still apart of the living room. Anyways, I thought bigger was better & decided to move. It was on impulse & regret it very much.. I miss my old home 😔 this is a HUGE 3 bed & it just feels very still if that makes sense..? The kitchen is by itself & the living room is HUGE & in a different area. Idk.. just doesn’t feel like us. Doesn’t feel like home no matter how much I decorate.. not only that but for whatever reason we can’t find the screws for our table or our daughters bed & our couch broke... Just feels kinda sad here & maybe a sign that this is temporary & we’re not suppose to be here long.. idk when I spoke to the landlord she told me 8 people use to live in this apartment together.. I definitely feel like it’s still there house & not ours.. for ex. No matter how much I clean the toilet & shower it still feels like it someone else’s.. I’ve never felt like this & tonight before bed my bf told me pretty much the same thing!!! It makes me so sad 😞
