Baby boy is here

Baby boy is here! Was induced a week early due to me being so tiny, and him measuring just a little big for a small pelvis like mine 😅 I am so glad too. I went in at 11 PM, and they got me started! I started out with mild contractions, but around 5 am they started to pick up. I was only a 1 1/2 at this time! Dr. Came in at 9 AM to break my water (was around a 2-3 by then) received my epidural, and it didn’t take all the way. They tried everything. By 11 o clock the contractions were doubling up and crazy intense. I was at a 5-6. About 30 minutes later, I was having contractions like no other. Labor shakes were kicking in, and they still were trying to get my epidural to take for me. My doctor was about to head back over to her office and heard how uncomfortable I was, so she came to check me. His head was crowning! As soon as she said that, I immediately started feeling pressure. We started pushing, and 20 minutes later our 7 lb 13 oz bundle of joy had arrived! I did bruise extremely bad, and had to get stitched up. Postpartum is not pretty, but bringing a beautiful baby earth side sure is.
