Low amniotic fluid

My amniotic fluid is pretty low and has been decreasing over the last two weeks. Has anyone experienced this and what was the outcome? Did you get induced early due to it or did they make you ride it out? I’m very nervous, I’ve read and heard so many horrible things that can happen if the fluid gets too low. I know I shouldn’t have even looked it up. My dr has me coming in today for another ultrasound and I’m wondering if there’s a chance they’ll induce me today.
