How did you feel before labor?

I’m just curious if you felt different? This is my first baby and I do not like surprises. I’m a planner 😂 
I’ve felt kind of off the past few days and I’m wondering if it’s real or maybe in my head.

With my first I was 39+8 felt a little crampy, we were out to a birthday dinner at a Mexican restaurant so I didn't think much of it, 2hours later my water broke and started having contractions an hour later. This time around Ive been having contractions on and off for a week and a half I'm 40+2 and no baby yet 😩

My water broke at 37 weeks. The 3 days before it broke I had to actually leave work early every single day due to severe back pain and TONS of pressure. I know the baby had dropped in those days too, it was very obvious because I had been taking belly pics daily.

I had another of pelvic pressure and my belly got really tight. Pretty sure I was in labor for a long time before I actually realized it or had any pain.

I didn't feel different before either of my labors. What was frustrating for me is after the first I thought I knew what to expect, but labor with second was totally different. The contractions felt different, the timing of my water breaking was different, everything was different.

I felt completely normal. I had no signs. I got out of bed and lost my plug and a my water broke.
