is too soon a real thing?

my bf and I have only been dating for about 2 months but I can definitely see him in my life forever. I’m trying to not be naive in picturing a future with him this early on in our relationship but all signs point to him being the one. He is in the military too so us moving quickly isn’t that surprising. I can’t find any good reason for us to slow things down but I also don’t want to end up regretting anything later on.

2 months seems too short of a time to truly know someone. I definitely could picture myself marrying my husband early on in our relationship if things stayed the way they were at that time, but also knew that things very well could change as we got to know each other more and experienced new hurdles. It would be too soon for me. But do what you want

Always be careful. But I can’t talk lol my husband and I were together 3 weeks before he moved in due to some issues with his mom when we were teens lol and we’ve been together almost 8 years. Married almost 2 and we are about to have our 2nd baby together(4 all together due to us having 1 by Previous relationship). We moved fast but look at us now and we’ve always been solid🥰

DO NOT RUSH INTO MARRIAGE. 
Wait until he deploys/ is gone for a little while and see how the relationship is. Please. A divorce costs a lot more than a break up. 
I've been through countless detachments and 2 deployments with mine. So I know we'll be perfectly fine getting married because we can handle being away from each other and have no issues within the relationship. 
2 months though.... you can't guarantee there won't be issues when hes away. Its rough. Super rough. Deployment fights are honestly the worst. You only have so long to talk to them, and they're away so theres no face to face/ emotion/ affection to be able to be shown. 
I knew about 6 months in that he was the one. For him, it took a little longer due to his past. Weve been living together for a year and a half now.. 
Just dont rush it because I guarentee hes gonna want to

How do you define moving too fast? Sharing bank accounts and moving in together, it's too soon at 2 months. But it's not weird to have a sense that he's someone you could be happy with forever. That's kind of the point of dating

I could’ve told you 1 week into my relationship with my husband that I was going to marry him. When you know, you just know. 
But we still waited 2 years to get actually engaged, and that was definitely the right call. 
If you get engaged or married too fast then you end up questioning if you’re together because you want to be, or out of obligation because you made such a serious and permanent commitment. Give it some time so you can be confident that you’re together longterm because you want to be. Then commit officially for life.

I felt the same way when my husband and I were together for the same amount of time. We met November of 2014, together by March 2015, engaged May of 2015 and married March 2016. In between all that we were happy but we had so many down falls and what made us get through is wasn't the fact that we were about to be married it was the fact that we did not want to lose each other and we were willing to grow in the ways we needed to stay together. If you both can do that then I don't see why not move on together as fast as you want. But do not think that just because your re engaged or married that you HAVE to work something out. If something terrible ever comes up do not be a afraid to leave.
