Best newborn diapers?

I’m thinking of what to add to baby registry and I had pampers, and then I saw people say they had a weird chemical odor and caused skin irritation. Any recommendations?

Found these just stay the best and keep those runny newborn poos in better! But all depends on your child's skin sensitivity too. But I do suggest having at least a 30 pack ready for you (and take what you can from the hospital). Some people will also say you only need the 30 pack.  That they grow out of them so fast.  ITS A LIE! Our little one went through MINIMUM 10 diapers a day and due to her size was in newborns for 5 weeks. Yours might grow out of then quickly, but even if it takes you a week to move on to size 1 that's still roughly 10 diapers a day and 30 is not going to be enough.  So be prepared!

It depends on your baby. Some babies can only use Pampers, some are allergic to it. Don't stock up before birth, many stores arent taking returns. Just set aside the cost of a box of diapers each time you want to buy one. 
My youngest daughter can only use Huggies or cloth.
Even with my twins it was different. one could handle Luvs, the other one couldnt.

Pampers caused diaper rash for us. We used Huggies little snugglers for newborn and size 1 diapers, then we switched to Costco/Kirkland diapers and we love them!

We've had good luck with Seventh Generation but recently has gotten a bad batch or something because they made my daughter break out in a nasty rash. We have used these when she was little and recently switched from Seventh generation and so far they are really good and do not irritate her skin

We used pampers at the hospital and they stink! I switched to honest as soon as we got home and use these or abby + finn.
