Question for moms with med free births

I've had a c-section and an induced VBAC (yay!) with an epidural. I only had my epidural for about 45 mins (15 of which was the pushing), so knowing I got so close makes me wonder if I should try med free this time. Can anyone share their experiences? Mainly I want to know if you would do it again, but also was the pushing more painful than the contractions or was it a relief? And if you needed stitches, did that process hurt? Anything else that you'd want someone to know who is considering med free?

I am high risk so I will have to be in a hospital room, can't do water birth because baby will need monitoring since it's a VBAC. And due to covid I doubt they'll let me walk the halls so that's another thing to consider.
