Temporarily laid off = precious time with my little girl

I've been temporarily laid off for 120 days and I couldn't have been happier!

I had been previously working from home and trying to parent my LO at the same time and now she gets 100% of my attention and the summer off to hang out with her.

So much less stress... my boss felt it necessary to let me know that working from home wasn't a vacation... parenting and working at the same time sure didn't feel like a vacation. He also had the balls to ask me to help out while I'm laid off.

I said no and it felt amazing to say no... I sometimes find it hard to say no to people.

My LO and I have gone on a lot of walks around our neighborhood and recently we have started to go to the walking trails in the river valley near our house for nature walks (I got her a little bug box) and we go for walks looking for bugs to put in it

I really hope I don't get recalled back to work. I'm really thinking of getting a new job where I'm not management
