Have you ever fell out of love with someone?

If you did, what did you do about it? Keep trying? Or let go? What did it feel like when you realized you didn’t exactly love this person anymore? I care about him but I’m not sure if I still love him. Things have been really hard between us lately, not sure if that’s what caused this or not.

If you have any love for him, I’d try to make it work & see if things come back together! If y’all been fighting or disagree with things then try working out the problems &  then see how you feel! Not every moment I been in my marriage with my husband have I felt that I was “in love” but we worked through any problems or feelings & with time I fell in love with him all over again. I believe in working on things & I believe if you actually love someone you can always fall back in love with time!

I’ve fallen out of love twice both with my EXS.. 
First one we just grew apart and he was living with me and we worked 2gher too but one weekend I just told him to go and stay with his sister and never to come bk.. since this day 7 years ago we haven’t spoken or even seen each other is like the love just went by clicking my fingers.. I didn’t cry I had no heart ache nothing... 
One before him I was with for year and I literally just walked away never look back. Sounds heart less bug end of the day if ur not happy and once the love is gone I believe the best thing to do is just walk away!! 
I am happy engaged now 6 years in and couldn’t be any happier..

Yes. I fell out of love with my ex husband and the father of my two children. I ended things. The relationship wasn’t going well. Best decision I ever made because shortly after I reconnected with a childhood friend and we have been together 3 beautiful years now and he is the absolute LOVE of my life.

And for me I realized it was happening because the little things I found cute in the beginning started to annoy me. I was less sexually interested, more irritable with her, and eventually started to crave the idea of being with someone new. For brief moments I could convince myself that I was still in love with her, but those feelings never lasted so after about a year and a half, I finally just couldn’t take it anymore. This resulted in me being kind of cold to her in the end and hurt her more than if I had just ended it sooner. This was almost 10 years ago and I still deeply regret not taking action sooner.

I have fallen out of love with a few people. I believe that when you are with someone for years, your love can fluctuate. I’ve never left a relationship as soon as I felt like my feelings for them started to decrease because it’s completely normal and if you’re right for each other, it will bounce back. You do have to work at it but you can fall back in love with someone. 
That being said, you can’t force love. If you just started to have these feelings, I’d give it some time and try to remember why you fell in love in them first place. But if giving it some time doesn’t improve things, it’s probably best to move on before you really start to dislike the person. I made the mistake once of staying in a relationship for over a year after I realized that I didn’t have the same feelings anymore. We had been together for almost 4 and I did have so much love for her so I just couldn’t hurt her like that. I realize now that I should have done it much sooner because it only resulted in more pain for the both of us.

I was with my last partner for about 10 months. I loved and cared for him but we were long distance. We weren’t making plans for our future which added to the “falling out.” I also have massive panic anxiety and he let me hear some stuff one day that triggered me. I didn’t have anxiety for a year before that and ever since I have suffered with it, again. In a way, I think I grew to resent him for it. The only way I knew I didn’t really love him anymore was, I became emotionally unavailable. I didn’t really care whether we spoke or what he was doing. I wouldn’t even text him at night. I also started hanging out with my friends a lot and never checked in on him.
There’s just that emptiness. But, your relationship might salvageable. It just depends on your situation.
