He wants to talk to you when he wants (just assuming it’s a he sorry if that’s wrong) doesn’t want to be in a relationship with you but also doesn’t want you to move on either. (Wants you for himself but will drop you once they find someone else) 
I would just do your best to move on and not try and be friends.

That y’all both will not work. You guys need to cut off all communications, the blue messages (which I assume is you) is trying too hard for someone who clearly doesn’t want a relationship and probably won’t want one for a while. You’re trying to push having some sort of label to what y’all are and he’s basically already said he’s not changing anything and doesn’t wanna sit back and watch you be single pretty much 🤷🏼‍♀️ I feel for the both of you.  Just end it honestly

It sounds to me like he’s stringing you along. I’d accept it won’t become anything and move on.

He doesn’t want to be with you or he would commit. He’s going to string you along for now if he can so you can be a back up if needs it. I’ve been here before a long time ago, and the amount of energy I put into it was worthless. Cut off communication and move on. It might hurt, but you’ll thank yourself in the end.

He is telling you he is going thought some mental health issues and cannot commit to any relationship if he cannot give himself 100 percent.
And by your txt you want clarity but it also sounds like you are being pushy. He is not ready and he’s told you that before. 
So you need to make a decision if you want to stay not get more clarity, if he doesn’t want to commit like you want him to then there is nothing you can do. you can continue to wait and be frustrated or like you told him move on and stop torturing yourself. 
Who knows what he is going thought, and he just sounds irritated with all the questioning. I don’t think it’s healthy for you and him to be in a relationship where one of the other is unsure and is going thought mental health issues.

At this point you need to put yourself first and move on, don’t wait for him. It’s gonna suck it’s gonna hurt but if it’s meant to be it will happen. I’m sure that Any other guy would be lucky to have you.

I don’t know much, but I do know this: if a man wants you in his life, he will go to hell and back to make sure you are. Men chase what they want and right now, he’s not chasing you. He’s not even walking towards you. Let him go, stop spamming him with texts, and stop asking to meet up to talk. If you must, send him one last text saying “I’m going to miss you, but I want to be with someone who wants a relationship.” And leave it at that. Right now you’re probably coming off as needy/annoying to him. The best thing to do is to let go and see if he makes a decision then.
