Cycles after ectopic (methotrexate)

Wondering what other women’s experiences were.

I was treated a little over a month ago for an ectopic with methotrexate. It took 2 doses. I got my period a week after my second injection when my HCG was about 15. It was a normal period for me. Light, no cramps. (I had been bleeding previously for 45 days due to the ectopic but that bleeding was different, really just spotting, and had stopped a few days prior to this starting so my doc was confident it was my period and not like residual bleeding from the ectopic)

I usually have extremely regular periods and I’m not sure what to expect. My period should be due this afternoon or tomorrow morning. I really hope it comes because the doctor said to wait two cycles to try again and I want to get this over with so we can try again in September!

What were your cycles like after methotrexate treatment for an ectopic? Did they get thrown off?
