Purposefully inducing a week early
I went in for my 28 week appointment yesterday and my OB told me about a new option they’re presenting to women for birth. Apparently, they found through scientific study that inducing women at 39 weeks reduces the risk of many delivery complications and even lessens the chance of needing an emergency c-section.
Has anyone heard of this? We’re you offered something similar? Would you/are you doing it?
