Is it too early for an exersaucer?
My daughter is 3.5 months old. She LOVES to be upright. Sitting or standing. She hates being laid down unless she’s sleepy, or cradled unless she’s nursing. She has total head control. & she controls her upper body quite well also. She can sit supported great, & can even sit supporting herself on her little hands in front of her for about 20-30 seconds before she might lean to one side and start to teeter over. & when I try and sit her up, she’s constantly extending her legs to stand on them and they’re SUPER strong.
I was going to get her a floor support seat but I feel like she’d have more fun with like an exersaucer/activity center cause she loves lights and sounds and is starting to bat at toys and grasp things.
Would it be dumb to do so since most start at the age of 4-5 months? Or is she close enough and seems physically developed enough to start using one now? I don’t wanna use one now if it’s gonna hurt her hip development or something? But if the minimum age is strictly to ensure she can support her upper body well, then I’m not worried about it. I just wanna be sure I’m making an informed decision so I do not hurt her. But I also don’t want her to stay bored and I know she would love it. Any ideas? Thanks a bunch! Examples below of exersaucers.
