Carpal tunnel syndrome??

Question

Anyone else hands and fingers so sore it hurts to open and close them? I searched it as I’ve never experienced such discomfort and read it’s pretty common in pregnancy with hormones and extra fluid and called carpal tunnel. 
Wondering what has helped anyone else?

Yup I’ve had it since 17-18weeks. Mine is worse at night and intermittent through the day.

Yes I have it bad. Severe pain and numbness. I wear wrist braces at night, makes it a little better. As it get further along, nothing seems to help. Was recommended to a chiropractor and she adjusted in my neck and shoulders. I had no pain for 1.5 weeks, it was the best thing ever. Went back for my 2 week visit hoping for the same results again and this time it didn’t do anything🤷🏼‍♀️ I thought that was gonna be my relief for the next 8 weeks of this pregnancy. Going to try again and see

I started getting signs of it in the first trimester (numbness) and was told to open my chest up and stretch to make sure it doesnt get worse. That helped me. Otherwise for carpal tunnel and tendonitis (which I had the latter pre pregnancy) I bought a hefty wrist brace on Amazon. It needed to immobilize your wrist and get it in a fixed position. I would wear it to bed and that helped things heal. I got one that had a big pad under your hand to help.

I got carpal tunnel with my first baby. I would notice it when I woke up in the morning, my pinky and ring fingers would be kinda numb and would be a little sore at times. Went away after delivery

It’s common. My ob suggested a brace and doing finger and hand stretches.
