How soon after birth can we try for a second baby?

We want 3 children and don't want too much of an age difference between them. How soon after I give birth to my first can we try for the second?

I work in this field and we really recommend 18 months between pregnancies. Your body requires a lot of resources to sustain life and those resources are depleted after pregnancy. def consult with your doctor, but your best chance for the healthiest pregnancy is with good birth spacing :)

Once your doctor gives you the ok after your post exam, usually 4-5 months after. You need to let your body heal!!

Well my oldest is 22 months, my youngest is 14 weeks and 3 days and I'm 8+1 pregnant with baby number number 3

Lol my sister gave birth to her little girl and low and behold she was pregnant again with her son at her 4 week post baby appointment.... you are very fertile after having a baby well that's what the doc told me anyway but its totally up to you she didn't wait to dtd and was blessed with another baby... but also depending on like stitches and things like that

They say you can have sex six weeks after. It's up to you. I have two girls less then a year apart a lot of people have Irish twins but it's hard work

It's healthiest to wait a year so your body can replenish everything it lost in pregnancy and childbirth. If you want to sooner, I'd wait at least six months. But you can always ask your obgyn

My parents didn't think they could have children, and they had me! And then surprise! When I was only 3 months old they got pregnant again, so my sister and I are 12 months 12 days apart. Love having a sister so close, our older sisters (half) are 8 and 9 years older, and I didn't become close with them until I was in my 20s. Hoping to have my babes closer in age as well, but maybe not as close as me and my sister! Haha
