young babies on prevacid

I'm looking for mom's who've had young babies on prevacid. I'm talking like 1 month old. our doctor gave her the dissolvable pill and said mix it with 4mls of water in a syringe and give it to her once daily.... now i know babies shouldnt have water so i instantly questioned her about it and she said it's such a small amount she'd be okay... but I'm still way too worried to give it that way. anybody else give their baby under 6 months old prevacid this way???
