Eating out questions

Is it supposed to be really wet afterwords? My boyfriend ate me out and it felt good but it also just felt really wet and mushy, like it wasn’t stimulating me to the point of climaxing because of that. Afterwords, I felt down there and the entire area of my vagina(outside of my outer labia) was very wet.

Is this typical of eating out? Or should I ask him to make it “less wet” (if even possible)?
