Are you still giving urine samples?!?!?

It just dawned on me that my Dr stopped having me give samples, I havent been asked for one for the last 3 appts!!!! I remember having to do it at every appt with my last baby. I thought it was done to check for protein uti etc...
The reason it even crossed my mind is that I noticed it burning a little when I pee :/

Yeah I just gave one yesterday at 32+5. I have given one at every single appointment since 6+5. Pretty sure I will keep giving them

My midwife doesn’t do that at all. I only gave a urine sample at my very first appointment when they did a pregnancy test. After that they only test urine if there’s a reason

I’m 32 weeks & I think I’ve only given 3 urine samples this pregnancy. I didn’t realize people gave it every appointment.

My midwife has me leave a sample every visit to check for dehydration. I would worry that your doctor is missing a step.. I mean isn't it more important to screen mama as she gets further along? Otherwise why would they go from month to biweekly appointments?

I gave a sample when I did my gestational diabetes test. Other than that basically since covid started I haven't had to do it.
