Impatience // Early Scan

By our estimates we were 8wks yesterday and after TTC for about 18 months we were so excited (my excitement was being challenged by the most intense nausea and sickness 🤢).

Because of COVID measures and my OH not being able to attend my 12 week scan, we decided to book an early reassurance scan this weekend so we could be together for it.

I was so nervous, but excited by the prospect of seeing positive signs and it all feeling really real.

We have a perfectly healthy, strong heartbeat-ing little bean and it feels amazing.

They’ve re estimated us at 7+2. But I’m sure now I’ve seen our little baby in the making the nausea will be a bit more bearable.
