Did anyone else keep testing even after a positive ?

I got my first positive on a digital first response and kept testing on other tests afterwards with lines to see the progress. Last time i was pregnant I miscarried a few days after I found out and the hormones never rose so this time i have been testing to see the line get darker. I have to admit it’s keeping me sane until i get blood test results

I did one a day for the first week. After that, it’s absolutely a waste of money and just adds extra anxiety. ❤️

No. I didn't want to waste the money. I just called my doctor's office to set an appointment and kept an eye out for bleeding and unusual pain.

i’m doing the same thing simply to use up my tests, because i don’t want to have any tests besides my pregmate strips

I had a miscarriage prior to my son so when I got pregnant with him, I took two tests after my first positive. I was pretty satisfied once I saw “yes” on the digital, and the test line was darker than the control on the other. I was in disbelief, I guess. But I don’t really believe in the line progression thing. Moving forward, we want to start trying for our second baby; pregnancy tests are expensive and my philosophy is that whatever is meant to happen will happen regardless of how often I test. If testing a lot helps you feel less anxious though, I say do whatever you have to do to nourish your mental health. If that means continuing to test, then keep on keeping on. :)
