Sleeping in Swings

My LO is 6 weeks and will only sleep in his Fisher Price Snuggapuppy Swing during the day. He can go 4-6 hours in it. I try to transition him from the swing to his bassinet once he falls asleep but he just wakes up and cries.

At night we can get him to go to sleep in his rocking bassinet in our bedroom (after a good hour of soothing after each wakeup) but he only sleeps 2-3 hours in it.

I know babies arent supposed to sleep in their swing so during the day what do I do? And is there a way to get longer sleeps during the night while in his bassinet?

I dont think he gets as comfortable in the bassinet so he wakes more often.

I'm not sure what to do!
