I’m not 100% sure what it looks like in darker skin tones (and this is why we need more comprehensive medical attention for all skin tones!) but if it’s some raised bumps like pimples and isn’t going away with regular diaper cream after a day or two, it could be yeast.
If it’s just a bit red or looks sort of damp, maybe just a bit of irritation or diaper rash. I’ve used Sudocrem on my little guy since birth and it’s been awesome!

My little guy has very sensitive skin and he's gotten quite a few different rashes. My SIL recommended A&D ointment (not cream) and it has worked wonders 🙌. When he gets a bad one we go diaper free for about 15min after bath time (just lay him on a dry towel) so that the rash can breathe and dry really well and then apply the A&D ointment. And if it doesn't clear up after a few days I would definitely check with the pediatrician. Good luck mama!
